CHOCOLATE
DIAMONDS
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. wholewheat flour
1/2 t. vanilla
2/3 c. chopped nuts
1. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
2. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts, and mix well.
3. Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Very lightly
press them into batter with the palm of your hand.
4. Bake in hot oven (400°) about 12 minutes. Cool slightly, and cut
into 1-1/2-inch diamonds in pan.
