PEANUT
BUTTER DROP COOKIES
Delightfully crunchy.
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c. unsalted butter
1//2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
2 T. wheat germ
1/4 c. milk
1 t. vanilla extract
1-1/2 c. wholewheat pastry flour
3/4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. ginger
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. Grapenuts
1. Mix first seven ingredients together in order given.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, and ginger. Add to first
mixture, stirring well.
3. Stir in raisins and Grapenuts.
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in moderate
oven (375 degrees) 10-12 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen
