HONEY
DATE BARS
1 c. honey
3 eggs, well beaten
1 t. vanilla
1-1/3 c. sifted flour
Two 7-1/4 packages pitted dates, cut up
1 c. chopped nuts
Turbinado sugar
1. Mix honey, eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients,
dates and nuts.
2. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 45 minutes. Cool in pan.
Cut in 1 x 3-inch bars and roll in sugar.
