NEW
YEAR'S DAY GUACAMOLE
From my daughter Jaclyn:
"This is a very zesty 'Guac', I first made on January 1st, 1982."
6 medium avocados
1 c. sour cream
2 t. ground cumin
1 bunch scallions, finely chopped
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/4-1/2 c. hot salsa
2 t. salt
1 t. cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 t. garlic powder
Mash avocados. Add seasonings. Lightly blend. Add parsley, scallions and
salsa. Add sour cream. Chill.
Serve with Oven-Fried Tortilla Chips.
