This is based on a Woman's Day recipe that my sister Kathy discovered.
It is particularly good if you make your own pasta.
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. butter
4-6 cloves garlic, minced
I t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2-1 c. chopped parsley
1 lb. thin spaghetti
1. Melt together olive oil and butter. The mixture should be warm rather
than hot. Lightly saute the garlic in it for 5 minutes.
2. Add salt, pepper and parsley; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Cook and drain spaghetti. Toss with sauce.
