Sometimes we served this at birthday parties, although in retrospect
I think the mothers enjoyed it more than the children!
1 loaf wholewheat or unbleached white bread, unsliced
3 sandwich fillings
(e.g., egg salad, tuna fish, cream cheese & olive)
Half and Half
1. Make three lengthwise slices in the loaf of bread.
2. Put a different filling in each segment.
3. Whip the cream cheese with a little half and half so that it is spreadable.
Tint pink or yellow or green (or blue?) Frost the loaf. If you wish, decorate
with carrot curls or parsley flowerettes.
