STANBERG'S CRANBERRY RELISH
Just before Thanksgiving every year Susan Stanberg of National Public
Radio gives her mother's recipe over the air. It sounds strange, but I
made it last year and thought it wonderful.
2 c. fresh cranberries, washed, picked over
1 small onion
3/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 T. or more prepared horseradish
1. Grind together the cranberries and onion. Stir in sour cream, sugar
and horseradish.
2. Freeze in a tupperware container. Defrost at room temperature. Then
whip and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
