DELICIOUS
CHICKEN LIVERS
1 box frozen peas
1 pound chicken livers
Seasoned flour
Butter
2 T. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 t. poultry seasoning
1 chicken bouillon cube
1. Cook peas briefly, drain, and put in shallow 1-quart casserole.
2. With fork pierce livers several times to prevent popping. Dredge with
seasoned flour. Fry in 1/2 cup butter until browned. Put on vegetables.
3. Put 2 T. butter in skillet, and blend in 2 T. flour. Add milk, seasoning
and bouillon cube. Cook until thickened. Pour over livers.
4. Bake in moderate oven, 350° , 15 minutes.
